These Terms of Service govern your use of ProfitPlate, a food business cost tracking, invoice scanning, recipe costing, and sales insight application. By creating an account, signing in, purchasing a subscription, or using the app, you agree to these terms.
You may use ProfitPlate to manage ingredient costs, create dishes, scan invoices, track sales, and review margin information for your own business or operational needs. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for reviewing AI-generated invoice results before saving them.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your sign-in method and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to use ProfitPlate only in compliance with applicable laws and app store rules.
ProfitPlate may offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions may unlock additional features such as expanded dish limits, additional invoice scans, or other premium functionality shown in the app at the time of purchase.
Subscription billing is handled through the app store or payment provider shown during purchase. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges according to the selected plan, billing period, price, taxes, and payment terms displayed at checkout. Prices and features may change for future billing periods where permitted by law and platform rules.
You can cancel a subscription through the account, app store, or billing provider used to purchase it. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund charges already processed. Access to paid features may continue until the end of the current paid billing period unless the billing provider applies different terms.
Refunds are handled by the app store or payment provider that processed the purchase. ProfitPlate does not guarantee refunds for partial billing periods, unused features, accidental purchases, account inactivity, or dissatisfaction where the billing provider does not grant a refund. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your location.
Invoice scanning and AI extraction are provided to save time, but results may be incomplete or inaccurate. You must review extracted ingredient names, prices, units, and any margin impact before relying on the data for business decisions.
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, upload unlawful content, reverse engineer restricted parts of the service, or use ProfitPlate to violate any law or third-party rights.
We aim to keep ProfitPlate reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may depend on third-party services including Firebase, RevenueCat, app stores, and AI processing providers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProfitPlate and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, including losses from inaccurate cost calculations, invoice extraction errors, subscription interruptions, data entry mistakes, or business decisions made using the app. Our total liability for claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for ProfitPlate during the three months before the claim, or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users, or if continued service is not commercially or legally practical. You may stop using ProfitPlate at any time.
We may update these terms as the app, features, providers, or legal requirements change. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
